Service Description

This class is designed for students with some experience. Rocket is the name given to a modification of the traditional Ashtanga style of yoga, created by Larry Schultz. While on tour with the band The Grateful Dead for three years, Larry developed a method for teaching these aging rock stars the principles of Ashtanga in a way they found enjoyable, compelling and transformative. This class is Rocket I, based on the Primary Series, which repairs, rejuvenates and strengthens the practitioner on all levels of their being. Students who have curiosity to deepen into the realm of self-practice will find upon regular attendance that they become knowledgeable of the sequence which will repeat each week. Herein lies the freedom that comes from 'abhyasa vairagya', consistent practice without attachment. Bring your own mat. In the event you don't have one, please email us beforehand as we have a few spares that we can loan to you at no cost.
